About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to support an aviation location in Orlando, Florida. The officer will safeguard the site through routine patrols, a visible professional presence, customer service, and responses to security concerns. The role involves interacting professionally with travelers, employees, visitors, and tenants while working with a team and following site-specific procedures. The position pays $18.47 per hour. The listed schedule is Thursday from 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Additional shifts may be available through the company’s Claim a Shift platform.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and tenants while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, parking areas, public spaces, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations.
Report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and assist with access-control procedures according to site requirements; report unauthorized access attempts and policy violations.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, coordinating with airport operations and emergency personnel as directed.
Prepare accurate incident reports, activity logs, and other required documentation.
Help deter unauthorized activity through a visible, professional presence.
