Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, and support access control operations. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide responsive customer service. Requirements

  • Possess an active DoD TS-SCI clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and support compliance with site policies.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and contractor entry requirements in accordance with established procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
  • Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence in a controlled aerospace and defense environment.
