As a Security Officer Full Time Hotel Patrol in Bethesda, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a hotel or resort location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms, and support loss-prevention efforts. You will deliver welcoming customer service and clear communication to guests and staff while using technology to document activities. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Must be 21 years of age or older
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to guests, visitors, and/or staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a hotel or resort location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, entrances, parking areas, public spaces, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents, guest concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and/or vendor access procedures while maintaining a welcoming hospitality-focused presence.
Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
