About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Clinical Support Patrol in Brandon, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Hospital Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, support hospital operations, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• Must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
