About The Position

Citadel Security USA is seeking a professional Unarmed Security Officer to provide security services at a commercial property in Cheyenne. This position focuses on maintaining a secure environment through proactive patrols, access monitoring, excellent customer service, and timely reporting. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong situational awareness, communicates professionally with employees and visitors, and takes pride in providing dependable security support.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent observation and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to remain calm while responding to changing situations.
Professional customer service skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Successful completion required background screening.

Nice To Haves

Previous security, customer service, hospitality, or public-facing experience.
Experience conducting patrols and preparing incident reports.
Familiarity with commercial property security operations.
Knowledge of basic emergency response procedures.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine patrols of buildings, parking areas, construction zones, and surrounding property.
Maintain a visible presence to help discourage unauthorized activity and security violations.
Inspect assigned areas for safety concerns, property damage, or unusual conditions.
Report hazards or maintenance issues that could affect site safety.
Monitor entrances and exits throughout the property.
Verify authorization before permitting access to restricted areas.
Assist with visitor check-in procedures when required.
Observe site activity and report unauthorized access attempts.
Respond to security concerns, disturbances, and emergency situations in accordance with established procedures.
Follow post orders and client-specific operational guidelines.
Notify supervisors and designated site contacts of incidents requiring additional attention.
Preserve accurate information regarding security-related events.
Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation accurately and on time.
Maintain clear communication with supervisors throughout the workday.
Document observations involving safety issues, suspicious activity, or operational concerns.
Maintain confidentiality regarding client operations and sensitive information.
Provide courteous assistance to employees, contractors, and visitors.
Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while on duty.
Build positive working relationships through respectful communication.
