As a Security Officer Patrol Partner in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify security-related concerns and/or policy issues.
• Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and restricted areas to help support authorized access and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or potential hazards.
• Support day-to-day operations by following post orders, using communication devices and/or reporting tools, and assisting with security-related requests in a professional manner.
