As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Mobile Site Observation in Falls Church, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a driving Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and support a welcoming environment. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail common areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.
