As a Front Desk Security Professional at a utilities location, you will serve as a welcoming, highly visible presence while supporting access control, visitor management, and communication of security-related concerns. You will help maintain an organized environment through exceptional customer service, professionalism, and integrity. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk of a utilities location by following site-specific security-related procedures, visitor management protocols, and access-control requirements.
  • Greet visitors, contractors, and employees; verify authorization, issue visitor credentials, maintain accurate visitor logs, and direct individuals according to site procedures.
  • Monitor front-desk communications, alarms, cameras, and access-control activity as assigned; report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying designated contacts.
  • Maintain professional communication with employees, visitors, contractors, and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a welcoming and controlled entry environment.
