Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a security officer role within luxury hotels, high-end residential, or Class A corporate setting preferred.
  • Computer Literacy, minimum 2 years experience working with integrated security systems, and advanced skill level with Microsoft Office
  • Problem solving abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication
  • Excellent Organizational Skills and able to multi-task projects
  • Exceptional organizational and listening skills
  • Ability to work independently, with limited supervision.
  • Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations.
  • Physically fit and able to stand/walk for long periods and respond rapidly when needed.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability for night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • High School Diploma

Responsibilities

  • Patrol hotel premises (including lobby, guest floors, public areas and back-of-house) regularly to maintain a visible presence and deter security threats.
  • Monitor security systems including CCTV, fire alarms, and access control systems.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and incidents such as disturbances, theft, medical emergencies, or fire.
  • Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and ensuring only authorized personnel are admitted.
  • Enforce hotel rules and policies professionally and respectfully.
  • Write clear, detailed reports on incidents, patrols, and daily activities.
  • Assist guests and employees with safety-related issues or concerns.
  • Coordinate with local emergency services (fire, police, ambulance) when needed.
  • Conduct investigations into property damage, theft, or other suspicious activity.
  • Support crowd control during events or high-occupancy periods.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and health procedures in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
