As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Interior Patrol in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, including entrances, parking areas, public spaces, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor, staff, and vehicle activity; report unusual conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports related to incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with location requirements.
