As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Authorization in Coatesville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Monitor and control access at designated entry points by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor arrivals, and directing authorized personnel according to site procedures.
• Observe incoming and outgoing vehicle, material, and personnel traffic for compliance with access requirements and report unusual activity to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, surrounding grounds, and perimeter areas, documenting observations and reporting potential security-related concerns.
