About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients. The role involves providing customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Officers respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and use problem-solving skills. They also conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

The position pays $23.00 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 12:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Applicants must have at least one year of security experience. Minimum eligibility requirements include being at least 18 for unarmed roles or 21 for armed roles, and having a high school diploma or equivalent or five years of verifiable experience. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local rules; a valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• At least one year of security experience.

• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, if required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
