Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related experience, law enforcement experience, or military experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor registrations, and delivery-related traffic in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
