Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent or vocational training
Security, law enforcement, and/or loss prevention experience is an asset
State of Hawaii Guard Card
Valid Driver’s License
Clean Driver’s Abstract
CPR/First Aid Certification
All Candidates must be in possession of identification proving authorization to work in the United States as defined in the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA).
This Position does not offer sponsorship of Work Visas.

Responsibilities

Provide security, emergency, and first aid assistance
Implement, as directed by the Security Manager, all policies and programs related to Security Services
Guide and support all leaders and colleagues with respect to safety & security procedures
Educate all new Fairmont colleagues on safety & security
Assist in the training of all new security officers
Create and maintain proper documentation on any incidents reported by guests or colleagues
Ensure adherence to Lost & Found procedures including accepting items with proper documentation, assisting colleagues & guests with inquiries, maintaining accurate logs and following retention guidelines.
Investigate and follow up on any reports made by guests or colleagues
Review the business continuity plan with the security manager and ensure that all updates are communicated to colleagues, and that all necessary training is provided
Conduct lock interrogations and assist Engineering Department with lock repairs
Conduct foot and vehicle patrols
