Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Monitor access at the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or visitor information, and directing patients, families, staff, and vendors in accordance with site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and/or contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
  • Support front desk operations by maintaining accurate visitor logs, documenting security-related incidents, and communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive activity through attentive observation of the lobby and reception area while maintaining a professional presence.
