Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access, conduct screening activities, and support security-related operations with professionalism and great customer service. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, security-related policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering and exiting the location in accordance with post orders and client guidelines, and report unusual activity or policy concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with supervisors, site contacts, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting access control issues, suspicious activity, and/or conditions that could impact daily operations.
  • Monitor entry points, screening equipment, and visitor processing areas to help support orderly site access and help to deter unauthorized entry or prohibited items.
