As a Security Officer Unarmed Shopping Center Patrol Site Inspection in Costa Mesa, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail and mall location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors and team members while supporting a welcoming environment. Requirements

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or client representatives by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, entrances, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual conditions, policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns, and promptly notify appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating professionally with the public and client representatives.
