As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use technology to document security-related observations. Requirements

  • Have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
  • Monitor access points, visitor activity, and site conditions; report observations, hazards, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.
