As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Mesquite, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer lots, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel, helping to verify credentials, follow visitor processing steps, and support traffic flow at the location.
• Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by observing material movement, checking designated areas for irregularities, and reporting maintenance, access control, and/or security-related issues.
