About The Position

This is a Seasonal position at Six Flags Entertainment Corporation Six Flags Fiesta Texas, offering an exciting opportunity to launch a career in Security and Public Safety. Certified Level II Security Officers earn $14.75 per hour. Applicants who do not currently possess a State of Texas Level II Security License are still encouraged to apply and will begin training and working as a Security Screener at $10.25 per hour while completing the certification process. Upon obtaining and providing valid Level II credentials to the department, Team Members will transition into the Level II Security Officer position and corresponding pay rate. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have a valid driver’s license
Ability to successfully obtain a State of Texas Level II Security Certification within 60 days
Strong communication and guest service skills
Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations
Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods of time
Ability to follow procedures, policies, and directions from leadership

Previous security or customer service experience is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Help provide a safe, secure, and family-friendly environment for guests and Team Members throughout the park.
Gain valuable experience working as a Security Screener, learning park operations, guest interaction, and security procedures before transitioning into a fully certified Security Officer role.
Conduct guest and Team Member screening at park entry points.
Provide exceptional guest service while enforcing park policies and procedures.
Patrol assigned areas of the park to maintain safety and security.
All other duties as assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole.
