As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception Operations in Sinking Spring, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.
  • Alarm Panel Experience (B202)Candidates must demonstrate experience with alarm panel systems. This includes knowledge of alarm activation, deactivation, troubleshooting, and responding to alarm events.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)Candidates should be proficient in using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes familiarity with software applications, email communication, and data entry.
  • Customer Service Experience (B219)Candidates must possess strong customer service skills. This includes experience in handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing a positive customer experience.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Manage the front desk by greeting and directing visitors, confirming access authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor records.
  • Monitor access points, phone calls, alarms, and security-related systems, reporting unusual activity or concerns according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Maintain a professional, welcoming presence in a healthcare location while helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting a controlled environment.
