Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at the location.
  • Monitor entrances, gates, and/or designated checkpoints to help control access to authorized areas, report unusual activity, and communicate security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and emergency response procedures appropriate for a food and beverage location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including perimeter points and access-sensitive spaces, to help identify security-related issues and report maintenance, policy, and/or operational concerns.
  • Support daily operations by assisting with visitor management, delivery and vehicle access, key and badge accountability, and completion of required logs, reports, and other documentation.
