As a Security Officer Full Time Logistic Center Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening individuals and materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Screen personnel, packages, and vehicles entering designated logistics and distribution areas in accordance with established site procedures.
Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry to restricted areas, documenting visitor and delivery activity as required.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, facility grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
