About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Entry Assistance in SUN VALLEY, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a fast-paced logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel. This role offers the opportunity to apply your experience while delivering reliable, customer-focused security-related support through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and irregular conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
