About The Position

We’re looking for a professional Security Officer to support a healthcare facility in Danbury, CT. You’ll help protect patients, staff, visitors, and property while providing a calm, helpful presence in a medical environment.

Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and respond quickly in emergencies
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• High school diploma or GED
• Must meet all local/state licensing requirements for security officers (if applicable)
• Ability to pass background check and drug/alcohol screening, in line with company policy

Nice To Haves

• Prior security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience
• No experience necessary! If you have retail, food service or hospitality industry background you are a great fit for this role; if not, we will provide you with the training and everything you need for a great introduction to a career in the security industry.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances, exits, and overall facility security
• Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a professional manner
• Conduct regular patrols of interior and exterior areas
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations as directed
• Enforce facility rules, regulations, and access control procedures
• Complete clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports
• Work closely with healthcare staff to support a safe environment
