About The Position

Securitas Security Services is expanding its Security Team at Lonza located in Newington, NH. They are looking for Full-Time & Part-Time Security Officers to fill various shifts. The ideal candidate brings a background in military service, law enforcement, or security, along with strong leadership and managerial capabilities. Previous experience in security or management is strongly preferred but not required, as Securitas offers a comprehensive training program to support your success. Requirements

• 18 Years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, & have a strong work ethic.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must have a reliable means of transportation & communication.
• Undergo and meet company standards for background and reference checks, controlled substance testing, and behavioral selection survey, in addition to any mandatory licensing requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Background in military service, law enforcement, or security.
• Strong leadership and managerial capabilities.
• Previous experience in security or management.
• Previous Military and/or Law enforcement experience a plus!!
• Conflict resolution & de-escalation skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot and/or mobile patrols throughout shift – During various weather conditions.
• Stay alert & have great attention to detail.
• Conduct access control duties.
• Maintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff and the public, occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
• Handle multiple tasks concurrently.
• Perform keyboarding, basic computer usage, and operating controls.
• See, hear, speak and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and clients, observe and report incidents, and direct others.
• Perform frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Occasionally reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
• Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
• Perform duties requiring close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
• Perform stressful and physical activity on occasion.
• Work in environments or under conditions that require the use of protective gear and devices and/or awareness of personal safety and safety of others.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Provide security needed to safeguard clients' assets and people.
• Intervene if an incident occurs that requires intervention regardless of whether or not it is directly related to their job.
