As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a welcoming, controlled environment by screening personnel and items, monitoring access points, and reporting unusual activity. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
  • X-Ray Screening Experience is preferred.
  • Loss Prevention Experience is preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Screen individuals, packages, and property entering or leaving the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established procedures and applicable regulations.
  • Operate screening equipment and conduct inspections to identify prohibited or unauthorized items, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, access points, loading zones, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
