About The Position

TRIDENT is adding a Security Officer to cover professional safety and security duties at client sites in Cupertino, CA. We’re after someone trustworthy, customer-focused, and able to stay cool in a fast-paced, fluid environment. A keen eye for what’s happening around you and a steady, professional presence are non-negotiable for this job.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Must obtain or currently hold a valid California Guard Card (BSIS) within 30 days of hire.
  • A valid California Driver's License is required.
  • Composure: Holds a professional, level-headed demeanor even when situations get intense or difficult.
  • Attentiveness: Sharp observer with a strong knack for catching details and spotting potential risks.
  • Service Orientation: Dedicated to positive, respectful, and helpful interactions with everyone on site.
  • Reliability: Dependable, punctual, and accountable — consistently, every single shift.
  • Teamwork: Works productively alongside fellow officers, client staff, and public safety partners toward common goals.

Responsibilities

  • Team up with a group of Security Specialists to keep retail locations safe and secure for customers and employees.
  • Walk planned foot patrols in your assigned zones to maintain visibility and discourage unauthorized activity.
  • Spot, report up the chain, and deal with any unsafe or unusual conditions you encounter.
  • Look into, document, and report security incidents, accidents, and property maintenance concerns.
  • Jump on requests for help from supervisors, clients, or other on-site personnel right away.
  • Back up client staff during evacuations, emergencies, or hazardous situations.
  • Help with crowd management and coordinate with public safety officials when needed.
  • Verify employee credentials when personnel request access to restricted areas on client property.
  • Manage parking enforcement and help work through vehicle-related issues on site.
  • Treat every interaction with customers and employees with courtesy, respect, and professionalism.
  • Administer First Aid, CPR, or AED care during medical emergencies as required (when certified).
