About The Position
Securitas USA is hiring entry-level, full-time Security Officers to provide security services that help safeguard clients’ people and assets. The role emphasizes vigilance, integrity, helpfulness, customer service, and effective communication. Officers must be available for all shifts and work at least one weekend shift, Saturday or Sunday. The listed pay rate is $18.00 or more per hour. Open interviews are held Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 545 Metro Place S., Suite 200, Dublin, OH 43017.
Requirements
- Pass a drug screen and background check.
- Hold Driver Certification.
- Meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
- Be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Be over the age of 18.
- Be available to work at least one weekend shift, Saturday or Sunday.
- Be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and navigate uneven terrain.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, observation, instruction-following, customer service, and communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess the work environment, staying alert to potential risks and safety or security concerns.
- Observe and report information that may affect safety and security.
- Assess situations and make informed decisions while following protocols and guidelines.
- Provide customer service as a friendly first point of contact.
- Communicate clearly and effectively.
- Work at least one weekend shift, Saturday or Sunday.
