Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to all visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or policy concerns.
Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, including checking credentials, logging visitor activity, and communicating access concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Complete required reports and documentation regarding patrol activity, incidents, and/or daily observations, and support site emergency procedures, evacuations, and related response actions when needed.
