Security Officer
About The Position
The Security Officer for Island View Casino & Beach Resort is responsible for safeguarding property assets and ensuring the casino environment is safe and secure for patrons and employees of the casino, as well as being responsible for the physical safety of guests, employees, and company assets. This role requires greeting internal and external guests, maintaining a friendly and inviting atmosphere, and promoting positive guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service. The Security Officer is also responsible for escorting chips, cash, and table game drops, ensuring that no unauthorized persons enter the gaming floor by checking credentials/Identification. They must quickly respond to any emergency situation as required, report any criminal or suspicious activity, and will be required to initiate and prepare security incident reports daily.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to obtain a Mississippi Gaming Permit
- Must be 21 years of age
