About The Position

ProHealth Care is seeking a Security Officer for their Mukwonago Campus. This is a .5 FTE position, working 20 hours per week on the PM shift. The role involves ensuring the safety and security of patients, visitors, staff, physicians, vendors, and community partners within a healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, observation, and documentation skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations. Responsibilities include responding to aggressive behavior using de-escalation techniques, attending regular training, and maintaining proficiency in the use of handcuffs.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record required.
Ability to work the location and shift requirements of the position.
Strong communication, observation and documentation skills.
Ability to remain calm, professional and decisive in stressful or emergent situations.
Ability to respond appropriately to aggressive or violent behavior using training, policy and de-escalation techniques.
Willingness to attend regularly scheduled Defensive Tactics for Security and Professional Communication Skills training.
Ability to maintain proficiency in the application and removal of handcuffs.
Comfort working in a health care environment with patients, visitors, staff, physicians, vendors and community partners.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree or higher preferred.
Related security experience preferred.
