About The Position

This position is for a Security Officer responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises. The role requires excellent character, integrity, customer service, and critical thinking skills. The officer must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. The position involves a flexible schedule to support 24x7 operations and requires the ability to perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 25 pounds. The officer must also be capable of running short distances in emergencies and providing life-saving techniques as trained. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary. The role also requires the ability to access technical data under U.S. export control laws and complete all required company training.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3 years of full-time work experience
• Excellent character, integrity, customer service, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Willing and able to work a flexible schedule as needed to support critical issues in a 24X7 environment
• Capable of frequently sitting, standing, and/or walking for long periods of time, which may involve climbing stairs, walking up inclines, and on uneven terrain
• Reliable transportation and a valid state issued driver’s license
• Capable of frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting or moving up to 25 pounds
• Capable of running short distances in the event of an emergency
• Willing to providing life saving techniques to the level of your training in the event of an emergency until relieved by more qualified personnel
• Must complete all required Wolfspeed training for the position of Security Officer
• Requires the lawful ability to access technical data, information, and areas controlled by United States export control laws and regulations
