As a Security Officer Full Time Emergency Call Intake in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor alarm and access control activity, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, and maintain clear communication with onsite teams and emergency services. Your professionalism and customer-focused approach will help support a secure environment while delivering through teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative values.

Requirements

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities.
  • Monitor and coordinate incoming calls, alarms, radio traffic, and other communications from the dispatch center, documenting activity and routing requests to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and other required records related to security-related operations.
  • Monitor security-related systems, including cameras, access control, and alarm notifications, and communicate observed concerns to designated personnel.
