About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Morgue Patrol in Thornton, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. You will respond to security-related situations, including assisting with restraint incidents and morgue-area access. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
  • Be able to restrain individuals as needed.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including building interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas.
  • Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, access concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Assist with access control, visitor guidance, and documentation of incidents and patrol activities in accordance with site procedures.
