Requirements

  • Have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, streets, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and property concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe vehicle and pedestrian activity; assist with visitor, vendor, and resident access in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports and communicate relevant observations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
