As an Unarmed Security Officer at a public transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities at an airport location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, roadways, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying emergency responders when appropriate.
Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and patrol documentation while communicating professionally with airport operations personnel and public agencies.
