As a Security Officer X Ray Parcel Inspection in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by operating screening equipment, monitoring access points, and observing packages and personnel for security-related concerns. You will remain visible, communicate professionally, and provide exceptional customer service while helping to deter incidents. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established access-control procedures.
Monitor screening equipment, access points, and related activity; report prohibited items, irregularities, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and escalation protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, access points, loading areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
