As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Spanish Patrol in Fresno, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $19.92 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat06:00 AM - 02:30 PM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

  • Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and guests by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and sharing observations with site contacts and/or local authorities when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entry points, waiting areas, and exterior perimeter areas, helping to identify potential concerns and policy violations.
  • Monitor entrances and public areas, verify visitor access as directed by site procedures, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or disruptive behavior.
  • Support day-to-day operations by providing directions, answering routine questions, and reporting maintenance, security-related, and/or operational issues observed during patrols and post duties.
