In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, and assisting with visitor and contractor check-in activities at the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related issues.
  • Monitor gates, doors, badge systems, and delivery traffic, helping to control site access for employees, vendors, and guests while following post orders and client-directed protocols.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, assist with site communications during operational disruptions, and complete required logs, reports, and other security-related documentation.
