About The Position

Riverside security officer PART-TIME - Nights. This position involves observing and reporting activities and incidents at different assigned client sites, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Responsibilities include making periodic patrols to check for irregularities, controlling access to client sites through established protocols, observing departing personnel to protect against theft of company property, responding to a variety of incidents, and preparing logs and reports as required. The role also requires providing assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.

Requirements

• Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
• Ability to walk for long periods at a time and climb stairs for certain positions.
• Ability to handle all weather conditions.
• Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.

• Must have a basic knowledge of computer skills.
• Ability to adapt and respond to situations quickly.
• Ability to identify and handle stressful situations.

• Must meet minimum requirements of state licensing for security guard employment.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States.
• Must have access to reliable transportation.
• Must submit to and pass a drug test, extensive background check; including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verification's.
