About The Position

Red Hawk Golf and Resort, located in Sparks, NV, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Security Officer! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. This is a seasonal position expected to last 6 months or less, running through October, with the potential to become a year-round opportunity for the right candidate. The schedule averages 18-25 hours per week and offers flexibility, making it a great fit for someone looking for part-time work in a beautiful resort setting.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license required.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Professional and calm demeanor, with strong customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment.

Nice To Haves

Six months or more of related experience and/or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Ensure the safety and security of resort facilities and grounds.
Patrol the golf course and property to ensure rules and regulations are being followed.
Respond to security-related concerns from members, guests, and employees in a calm and professional manner.
Conduct routine and random property inspections.
Verify buildings and access points are secure.
Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
Identify and address potential safety hazards.
Assist with light maintenance duties as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
