As a Security Officer Patrol with Active Clearance in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aero and defense location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to supervisors and/or site contacts.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations within an aerospace and defense environment.
Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, observing visitor activity, and reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy concerns.
Complete assigned reports and logs related to patrol activity, incidents, and/or operational concerns while following post orders and location protocols.
