About The Position

The Security Officer is responsible for the security of hospital employees, patients/families, visitors, and property. As a Security Officer you will be responsible for fire prevention and initial response measures, maintain safety practices in the area of his/her assignment, have oversight of the SOC (Security Operations Center), and handle duties associated with the operation of a metal detector and wanding. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• HS graduate or equivalent required
• 1-year previous security experience required
• Valid driver's license required.
• Clean Driving Record Required

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of hospital-based experience highly preferred.
• Fingerprints and Child Abuse Clearance once hired.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for fire prevention and initial response measures.

• Handle Duties associated with the Operation of Metal Detector and Wanding
• Other Duties as directed by the supervisor
