Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a data center location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of data center buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and document entries, exits, and unusual activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence in a technology-focused environment.
