As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Rounds in Bluffton, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Nice To Haves

Access control/badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to store associates, customers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the retail location, parking areas, loading areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity to help deter theft, trespassing, unauthorized access, and other policy violations.
Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
