As a Security Officer - Full Time Gate in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor entry points, verify access, and support a welcoming environment for residents and guests. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A guard card is required.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by following site-specific access control procedures and community entry policies.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with post procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, property-related concerns, and/or access control issues.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including communicating with residents, first responders, and/or property management during security-related incidents.
