As a Security Officer Medical Readiness Patrol in Peoria, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

Possess EMT certification.
Have previous firefighting experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Have customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, office spaces, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized entry attempts or unusual activity.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in daily activity reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
