About The Position
Trinity Tank Car, Inc. is searching for a Security Officer in our Longview, TX plant. As a Security Officer, you will conduct regular monitoring of our property, serve as the first point of contact for visitors, assist with investigating on-site incidents, prevent theft, and mitigate escalated situations. You will also act as a liaison between customers, visitors, and employees, and prepare necessary documentation for the security administration program.
Requirements
- High school education (or equivalent) required.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience working as a Security Officer.
- Ability to prepare and maintain accurate documentation.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interface effectively with individuals of all levels.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work shift work required; days, swing, nights, weekends and holidays year-round.
Nice To Haves
- Prior knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business and/or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Prior experience and enforcement of procedures and policies preferred.
