Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the technology and communications location, including buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and facility concerns, and report observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Document incidents, patrol activities, and daily observations accurately and completely in accordance with site requirements.
